  • Location / Sendai, Japan
  • Venue / Sendai Sun Plaza Hall @ Sendai Sun Plaza Hotel

The first show by the band in this city.

The first time at this venue.

The venue was located in the Miyagino-ku ward in city centre.

The venue is part of the Sendai Sun Plaza Hotel which is near the underground Tsutsujigaoka train station.

It was opened in March 1991.

The opening night of the band's biggest Japanese tour to date with seven shows played.

The band members later said the 'Adrenalize' album had sold better in the country than 'Hysteria' and this tour was sold out.

'Another Hit And Run' remained in the setlist after making its tour debut in Sheffield at the Don Valley Stadium show.

'Tonight' returned as the acoustic song in place of 'Two Steps Behind' which had made its full live concert debut in Sheffield.

Recording work had been done on the 'Retro-Active' album at Joe's home studio between the Sheffield concert and this tour.

The band flew to Japan on the 12th June with 'Can't Keep Away From The Flame' recorded the previous night which would end up being first released on the Japanese edition of 'Vault' in October 1995.
