The venue is located in the East Rutherford area of New Jersey and within the Meadowlands Sports Complex,
It stands not far from the 82,500 capacity MetLife Stadium (formerly Giants Stadium) and is just 10 miles to the west of New York City.
It was opened in July 1981 as the Brendan Byrne Arena. It was also known unofficially as the Meadowlands or Meadowlands Arena.
The venue was then named as Continental Airlines Arena from 2007 to 2015 before renaming as the IZOD Center until its closure in April 2015.
Since closing as a venue the arena has reverted to the name Meadowlands Arena and it used for rehearsals by bands and for TV production.
Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora from Bon Jovi appear on the last encore, a cover of a Bad Company song.
Introduced by Joe as 'a couple of cowboys'.
A snippet of a Bon Jovi song was played earlier as a teaser during the acoustic section.
The band attended Bon Jovi's MTV "Keep The Faith An Evening With" concert on the 25th at Kaufman-Astoria Studios in New York.
They also filmed the video for 'Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion)' in the same city the day before this show.
