The venue was located in the city centre and next to where the newer Spokane Arena now stands.

The parking lot for that venue is where this building once stood.

It was opened in December 1954.

By Spring 1985 it had closed and was then demolished in the summer of that same year.

This show was the opening night of the third run of US shows after the two legs played between October 1987 and February 1988.

The sold out show was interrupted by a power failure during 'Foolin'' which lasted several minutes and saw Joe playing The Kinks' 'Lola' on acoustic guitar.

Something he first did in Stockholm, Sweden in March 1988 when Rick's drums lost power.
