The venue is located in the next to the Balmoral Golf Club and Musgrave Park Hospital.
It was opened in June 1896.
It was closed in June 2012 and the site is due to be demolished and redeveloped in 2020 to make way for a new health facility.
This was the last time Steve Clark would perform live in the UK just one day before his 28th birthday.
This show was the third overall on the tour in this city following the two nights at Ulster Hall in 1987.
An extra encore was added to the setlist of this last date of the second UK tour.
This show was initially announced for the 21st April but pushed to the 22nd when extra English shows were added.
Printed tickets with the 21st on were still honoured. Something which also happened in Dublin on the 1987 tour.
Tickets for 28th August were used for the 27th August opening night of the tour with the band playing on the 28th and 29th in Belfast.
