- Location / Philadelphia, PA, USA
- Venue / The Spectrum
The first show by the band in this city since March 1983 on the Pyromania tour.
The third time at this venue.
Another show supporting Billy Squier on his 'Emotions In Motion' tour.
The venue was located to the South of the city centre near the Naval Yard area and the border with New Jersey across the Delaware River.
It was opened September 1967.
The venue was closed in October 2009 and then demolished from November 2010 to May 2011.
It was opened as The Spectrum and then became the CoreStates Spectrum from 1994 to 1998, First Union Spectrum from 1998 to 2003 and finally the Wachovia Spectrum from 2003 to its closure in 2009.
The venue site is now Parking Lot G and used by the surrounding venues.
A new arena named Wells Fargo Center was opened just south of The Spectrum on the same site in August 1996 and has been joined by two new stadiums Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field.
