The venue was located 3 miles to the North east of the city centre and within the Parc des Expositions grounds.
It was opened in the 1970s and hosted concerts from around September 1980 until at least December 1990.
Two new venues were built in its place in one big building - Lille Grand Palais and Zenith Arena Lille.
The venue was a few streets away from the Palais des sports Saint-Sauveur / Sports Palace venue that would be played twice with Rainbow and Judas Priest in 1981.
