Show Story from 'Animal Instinct' Biography
"Although headliners Slade constructed a ten foot stage extension for the show, they would not allow Joe to go out on it during Def Leppard's opening set. That left a total of about three inches between Rick's bass drum and the edge of the stage. Joe had to sing to one side of Rick's kit. To add to the misery, Rick left his wallet in a Wimpy hamburger bar, with £60 in it."
