JOE ELLIOTT On DEF LEPPARD's Lost 11th PYROMANIA Album Track

Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has spoken about the new lost track included on the forthcoming Pyromania 40 anniversary box set.

The 40th anniversary 'Pyromania 40 Super Deluxe Edition' will be released on Friday 26th April 2024 via Universal Music Recordings.

The release follows a year of band celebrations on social media using the #pyromania40 hashtag and recent video teasers.

Joe, Phil and Sav have spoken in a new press release and given some quotes about this release and the original album.

Joe specifically mentioned the new/old lost track 'No You Can't Do That' which he discovered among the band's old tapes.

Although the title is a line from 'Die Hard The Hunter' Joe seems to suggest this is an entirely separate song.

He does say it was found "unfinished" suggesting that they have indeed finished off this song specifically for this release.

This could prove to be the thing Phil was recording guitars for as mentioned by Joe in one of the band's backstage videos on YouTube.

This song is believed to have been written by Steve Clark but this is not yet confirmed.

Original Album

Both Phil and Sav talk only about the original album and share some memories of it.

An album that was released 41 years ago today in the UK alongside the 41st anniversary of the 'Photograph' single in the USA.
