DEF LEPPARD May Play Live In MARCH/Last In Line Show Cancellation

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell's side band Last In Line have cancelled a show in March with news of a possible Lep appearance.

The Jericho album is now available from all online retailers and streaming services.

The follow-up to the 2019 second album 'Last In Line II'.

Cancelled Show/Def Leppard March Appearance?

Last In Line have now cancelled a show for 22nd March in Harrison, OH which had already been rescheduled from 2023.

The Blue Note Harrison venue announced the news on their Facebook page and removed the show listing from their website.

Interestingly the reason they gave is that Vivian has had to cancel to make way for a new Def Leppard show being scheduled with Vivian having to miss this show to attend.

Of course this new appearance has yet to be announced by Def Leppard themselves.

Where Will Def Leppard Play?

This yet to be announced/confirmed appearance would seem to be a one off ahead of the main tour in start in July.

One possibility on the 22nd March date or close to it is another Formula One After Race event.

This happened in November 2022 when Last In Line also cancelled shows to make way for Def Leppard to play at the Abu Dhabi after race show.

The Australian Grand Prix is scheduled for 22nd to 24th March with the after race show to happen on Sunday 24th March.

"If" this is the planned show then they would also have to cancel the show scheduled for Portage, IN on 23rd March but currently that show is still listed by the venue.

Last year this event was played by Australian band Birds Of Tokyo and the 2024 show is yet to be fully announced.

Hollywood Walk Of Fame

If what the venue are referring to is an event rather than a live performance then another strong possibility is the Hollywood Walk Of Fame ceremony.

In June 2023 the band were announced as part of the 2024 honourees to receive a star on Hollywood Boulevard.

Earlier this month the first of the 2024 stars were unveiled including for actor Willem Dafoe and musician George Clinton who gets his star on 19th January.

The events are usually announced just a few days ahead of time but are livestreamed with photo galleries also posted by the Walk Of Fame website.

New Last In Line Show

Last In Line have also just confirmed a new show in April with Lita Ford in Tulsa, OK with Lita listed as the headliner.

Lita supported Def Leppard in 2012 on the second Rock Of Ages tour alongside Poison.

Together with their label earMUSIC, frontman Andrew Freeman, bassist Phil Soussan (ex-Ozzy Osbourne) and former Dio comrades-in-arms Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard) and Vinny Appice (ex-Black Sabbath) announce the release of their third studio album “Jericho”, out on March 31st, 2023. With limited face-to-face time in the studio due to the pandemic the band managed to write and record songs while still maintaining the integrity of their writing process, explains Vivian Campbell:
