Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell's side band Last In Line will play a live Christmas show later tonight on Facebook.

The Jericho album is now available from all online retailers and streaming services.

The follow-up to the 2019 second album 'Last In Line II'.

Announced by Vivian in the last few days Last In Line will play a live show later tonight via Facebook Live.

Billed as 'The Sickness Christmas Show' the band will be live from 8pm UK/3pm ET/12pm PT.

Update - It seems this show is not a live concert but a four way band chat event they've done for the last two years. News to me, but you can watch via the link.

2023 Tour Update/New 2024 Tour Dates

The band have recently added a new festival show for May 2024 at the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, MD.

Two other shows have also been announced in Las Vegas and Houston, TX.

The band's planned show at a new festival in Mexico City for 3rd December was cancelled and two other December shows in the USA have been rescheduled to March 2024.

These shows see Vivian busy from January to May suggesting there won't be too much, if any, live action by Def Leppard during this time before their Summer Stadium tour kick off in July.

As mentioned the band already announced they will be at the Rock Legends Cruise event in February 2024.

Their first since the ill fated Hysteria On The High Seas cruise in January 2016 which included the untimely death of original bassist Jimmy Bain on board the MSC Divina ship.

Together with their label earMUSIC, frontman Andrew Freeman, bassist Phil Soussan (ex-Ozzy Osbourne) and former Dio comrades-in-arms Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard) and Vinny Appice (ex-Black Sabbath) announce the release of their third studio album “Jericho”, out on March 31st, 2023. To kick things off, the first track “Ghost Town” is released digitally. The accompanying music video can be watched on earMUSIC’s YouTube channel.

“The song for me describes breaking a cycle from different perspectives. On a personal level it could be family, career or life expectations, putting a person in an unwanted or unwelcome space. On a grander scale it addresses government expectations. Non-sensical, unethical ideas and laws that become the norm, while turning a blind eye to larger problems.” – Andrew Freeman

With limited face-to-face time in the studio due to the pandemic the band managed to write and record songs while still maintaining the integrity of their writing process, explains Vivian Campbell:

“With Last in Line, just as we did with Dio, we cut the basic tracks live. It's important for us to capture the energy of the syncopation of playing together in real time – much like the energy of a live show. This record represents the best of both worlds: the spirit of an energetic band performance, and the more reflective and nuanced qualities of our individual performances, too.”
