Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott appears in the new issue of Classic Rock magazine in the UK promoting the new Diamond Star Halos album.

'Diamond Star Halos' is the band's 12th studio album.

As announced on 17th March it will be released on Friday 27th May 2022.

The band are the cover stars on Issue 301 of Classic Rock magazine in the UK with Joe and the rest of the band interviewed for the major feature.

Joe talks about the band coming back after hard times, resurgence of popularity through playing live, the new 'Diamond Star Halos' album, Down 'n' Outz, David Bowie, Goodnight Mr. Jones, Vivian's health, his children, Joe Snr influence/help, his Mother Cnythia starting him on guitar, the 45th anniversary and hints about big future plans.

Joe Elliott - "It's such a cliche to say that, but I do love this new one."

Joe Elliott - "It's a feel good album. It's escapism. In hindsight, Euphoria was a decent attempt, but the polite word for it would be patchy."

Joe Elliott - "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge had some great stuff, like Love. But we really got our mojo back with the Def Leppard album and songs like Man Enough, which sounded like Another One Bite The Dust."
