Def Leppard's new single Take What You Want was given its first airplay on Planet Rock yesterday by DJ Paul Anthony.

'Diamond Star Halos' is the band's 12th studio album.

As announced on 17th March it will be released on Friday 27th May 2022.

New single 'Take What You Want' was released yesterday and is available to purchase and to stream.

Joe's fellow Planet Rock presenter Paul Anthony played the song for the first time yesterday morning.

As with 'Kick' last month the Planet Rock premiere happened at 8:15am over 30 minutes after it was played on BBC Radio 2 (whilst most sensible people were asleep...).

It was during the 'Kick' premiere that Paul mentioned UK shows were 'in the pipeline' which Joe then confirmed two days later on his own show.

Joe then went on to confirm that The Stadium Tour itself would be heading to the UK in 2023 and around the world over the next 3 years.

Unlike the Zoe Ball show on BBC Radio 2 this was the full unedited version including the guitar solo section.

To date this is its ony play on the station with 'Kick' since played twice and one play for 'Hysteria'.
