Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott played and discussed new single Take What You Want from the new Diamond Star Halos album on BBC Radio 2 earlier today.

'Diamond Star Halos' is the band's 12th studio album.

As announced on 17th March it will be released on Friday 27th May 2022.

New single 'Take What You Want' has been released today and is available to purchase and to stream.

Joe appeared on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show earlier today and as with Kick last month, he introduced the song.

As you may (or may not) have noticed, the song played was in fact a Radio Edit and not the full song currently being heard on streaming sites.

An edit which sadly chops out the best part of the song - the dual solo by Phil and Vivian.

This edit instead goes from the "And it's mine for now and forever" line straight to the end section and the final chorus.

He also hinted at some UK promo for the new album and a possibly visit to the studio to meet Zoe.
