EUROPE To Support DEF LEPPARD On THE WORLD TOUR in Switzerland

Def Leppard have confirmed that old friends Europe will support at the Thun, Switzerland show on The World Tour 2023.

The World Tour 2023 began in Mexico City on 18th February.

The World Tour 2023 was first announced in October 2022 with the Glasgow show scheduled for Hampden Park on 6th July.

Thun Support Act

Europe have now been confirmed as the support act for the show in Thun, Switzerland on 27th June.

Europe last played with Def Leppard in 2019 in Germany and four shows in Spain in 2013.

They first toured with the band for over 20 shows in the USA in the summer of 1988 during the outdoor leg of the USA Hysteria tour.

They are the latest support to be confirmed after Wolfgang Van Halen's band Mammoth WVH were confirmed in early March as support for two UK shows and in Ireland.

Europe's last studio album 'Walk the Earth' was released in October 2017.

They have a tour scheduled for September/October called Time Capsule which celebrates their 40th anniversary.

They also have 11 shows planned for June including Thun and at Sweden Rock (the day after Def Leppard/MC).

Europe also play Trondheim Rocks in Norway on 11th June on the same day as Def Leppard/MC.

Europe have now been added as support for this show.

The first show at this venue and in this town.

The town is located 18 miles to the South East of the city of Bern.

The venue is a 10,000 capacity football stadium and the home of FC Thun who play in the Swiss Super League.

German rock band Die Ärzte played to 20,000 fans here in May 2022.
