DEF LEPPARD/MOTLEY CRUE Change LIMA, PERU Venue/Announce Support Act

Def Leppard and Motley Crue have announced a venue change for Lima, Peru on The World Tour 2023.

The World Tour 2023 starts in Mexico City on 18th February following two intimate shows in the USA on 10th/11th February.

The World Tour 2023 was first announced in October 2022 with the Glasgow show scheduled for Hampden Park on 6th July.

The originally announced venue of Estadio Nacional has now been changed to Estadio San Marcos.

Interestingly the new stadium holds 32,000 people which is only slightly different from the 33,000 capacity of the first venue.

However looking at the new seating chart it seems the stage will be facing across the venue rather than the traditional "at one end" set up which suggests a lower capacity.

As mentioned this will be Def Leppard's first ever show in Peru.

The second venue change for 2023 after the Glasgow show was moved to Glasgow Green from Hampden Park.

The support act has now been announced for this show and is local Peru based band Por Hablar.

They formed in 1998 and are described as a Nu Metal band.

Motley Crue are still due to close this show and all tickets bough to Hampden Park are still valid.
