Def Leppard and Motley Crue have just announced six new stadium shows in the USA for The World Tour 2023.

The World Tour 2023 is due to start in Mexico City in February 2023.

This first leg will comprise 6 shows in outdoor stadiums following the cancellation of wo shows in Brazil.

The second leg starts in Sheffield in late May and sees them play 20 stadiums and/or festivals across UK, Ireland and Europe.

Two intimate shows in the USA will take place before the South American leg in February 2023.

These two shows were announced last last month and seem to be warm-up shows for Motley Crue's new line-up before the main tour starts.

Six new shows have now been announced today which will see the bands return to US stadiums in August 2023.

They will be joined by Alice Cooper who also played before Motley Crue on their (not so) Final Tour in 2015.

The six shows begin in Syracuse, NY on 5th August 2023.

The last scheduled show takes place on 18th August 2023 in El Paso, TX.

Tickets are on General Sale from 16th December with Pre Sales starting tomorrow.

Previously Vince Neil indicated the bands would not return to the USA or Canada until 2024 but these plans have now been changed.

Visits to Asia and Australia, New Zealand may yet happen in late 2023.

Co-Headliners/Special Guest

Motley Crue continue as co-headliners with Alice Cooper replacing Poison as the main special guest.

Def Leppard will close the shows in Syracuse, Fargo and Tulsa.

New Venues

Four of the six shows will see Def Leppard play new venues with both the Omaha and Fargo venues played on previous tours.

The Fargo venue is an indoor arena show with 19,000 capacity.

Hot off the heels of the biggest North American stadium tour of 2022 with more than 1.3 million tickets sold, the world’s most iconic and celebrated rock legends Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe are going global in 2023 with their co-headline ‘The World Tour’ along with special guest Alice Cooper. Produced by Live Nation, the U.S. leg of the world tour kicks off on August 5th in Syracuse, NY. The bands will bring their electrifying stage shows across America throughout the month of August including being the first ever show at the H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa, OK.
