DEF LEPPARD Announce First Support Acts For THE WORLD TOUR 2023

Def Leppard and Motley Crue have confirmed the first support acts on The World Tour 2023.

The World Tour 2023 starts in Mexico City on 18th February following two intimate shows in the USA on 10th/11th February.

The World Tour 2023 was first announced in October 2022 with the Glasgow show scheduled for Hampden Park on 6th July.

For the opening leg in Mexico and South America seven new bands have been added to the bill.

These include AGORA who will be opening the first two shows in Mexico City and Monterrey.

The first UK support act has been announced today as part of the Lytham Festival line-up.

They are none other than VIVAS (who used to be called Crossfire Eagles) and feature Sav's son Tyler on guitar.

They are also scheduled to play a festival in Sheffield at Hillsborough Park this summer where Def Leppard once played The Sheffield Show in the late 70s (not far from Steve Clark's childhood home and his grave site).

Sav attended their first show as VIVAS at The Leadmill venue in Sheffield in November 2022.

None of the other UK shows have had the support acts announced.

A number of European festivals have also announced the bands playing on the same days as Def Leppard and Motley Crue.

Outside of Hellfest none of the exact stage line-ups/timings have yet been confirmed.

Kraken from Medellin, Colombia who formed in 1983 will support at this show.

Tuesday, 28th February, 2023 Lima, Peru @ Estadio San Marcos

Local band Por Hablar will support at this show in the newly changed venue.

Friday, 3rd March, 2023 Santiago, Chile @ Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida

Chilean bands Whisky Blood will support at this show. They were picked via a local radio station contest.

Tuesday, 7th March, 2023 Sao Paulo, Brazil @ Allianz Parque

Brazilian metal band Edu Falaschi will support at this show.
