DEF LEPPARD's DOMINATION MEXICO Festival Show For 1st May Postponed

Def Leppard's 1st May appearance at the Domination Mexico festival has now been postponed by the organisers.

Initially announced by Joe Elliott during his 30th November Planet Rock radio show.

The first Def Leppard show of 2020 was confirmed in December by the organisers via Instagram.

They have now announced in the last few minutes that the festival will now be, as expected, cancelled along with many other events around the world due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.

Judging from the translation of their statement which you can see below the festival will now not take place again until 2021 and they will offer info of refunds soon on their social media accounts.

There is still no word on The Stadium Tour but with many festivals, including the UK's Glastonbury and Download being postponed or cancelled in June it looks increasingly unlikely the tour will go on without being affected in some way.

It was due to take place on Friday 1st May 2020 in Mexico City at Autodrómo Hermanos Rodríguez.

It had been rumoured by local fans for the last few weeks.

Def Leppard will play the first day of the two day festival on Friday 1st May 2020.

Other announced acts for the same day include Rancid, Opeth, Lacuna Coil and old 'friends' from the 1983 'Pyromania' tour...Krokus.

The band's first visit to Mexico since October 2017 when they played Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey.
