JOE ELLIOTT Announces DEF LEPPARD's Mexico City Appearance For 1st May 2020

Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has just announced the band will play a festival in Mexico City in May 2020 during his weekly radio show.

In the last 30 mins Joe announced that Def Leppard would play their next show in Mexico City.

The first Def Leppard show of 2020.

The rumoured appearance for May 2020 at Domination Mexico in Mexico City is the most likely event he refers to. No other major rock festivals take place in the city on the date Joe mentioned.

It had been rumoured by local fans for the last few weeks.

Joe had already mentioned in October that the band would start touring in April/May 2020.

Joe said the band will play the first day of the two day festival on Friday 1st May 2020.

The band's first visit to Mexico since October 2017 when they played Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey.

The festival's website has just changed to give info on ticket sales on Ticketmaster Mexico with an on sale date of 10th December.

Mötley Crüe have not been linked to the festival as yet but it seems likely the band might also be playing.

Vivian's Last In Line will be in Europe in late June but that show could fall into one of the gaps in Def Leppard's touring schedule.

Vivian also indicated the 2020 tour with Mötley Crüe and Poison might be announced later this coming week after he cleared a gap in his Last In Line UK tour schedule because "something's come up with Leppard".

The first show in this city since 3rd October 2017.
