"Phil Collen wrote it but we owned it. He wrote it for us and said I think this will be great and we said man, well how about that. We recorded it with him and it came out great so we decided to do a whole record with him. Why not?."
Next Tesla Album/Out This Spring?
"Well I don't think by Spring. Probably Summer of Fall and so far, Phil has written with us, and we've written ourselves and now we're just putting it all together. Piece by piece every time we come home from these tours. We've been putting this together since last year now. At Brian Wheat's studio in Sacramento. So it's nice 'cause we're all based out of home there except for Troy who lives in Nashville. It works out really well. Phil flies out and we just put songs together and some of them are already in the can waiting to be mixed. Some yet to come and some that we're working on now. And right now Phil's down there in the studio working with Dave and probably the next day or tomorrow is my turn and we're just having fun. Layering and layering a beautiful record together with Phil Collen at the helm."
