Def Leppard Visiting New/Rarely Played Cities On 2017 Tour

Def Leppard 2017.

Def Leppard announced their 2017 North American tour dates with Poison/Tesla yesterday and many new or rarely played cities are included.

The band will play 38 dates across the USA and Canada starting in Manchester, NH on 8th April and ending in Indianapolis, IN on 25th June.

The full list of 2017 tour dates was (somewhat awkwardly) announced yesterday and sees many new city/venue names among them.

Charlottesville, VA, Ontario, CA and Tuscaloosa, AL are being played for the first time.

These are added to the already announced festival shows that were confirmed over the last few weeks.

Of those first five dates, the Rocklahoma Festival in Pryor, OK is being played for the first time along with Concord, NC for the Carolina Rebelion show.

They will also return to many cities not played for a few years and in some cases over 20 years.

Guitarist Phil Collen says, “Our last full concert DVD, excluding Viva! Hysteria, was 1987’s In The Round, In Your Face, which was shot on video. We felt an updated version was way overdue so here it is, the brand new Def Leppard concert experience.”

I personally could not be more thankful for the three generations of fans and I love the music of Def Leppard and Tesla. This will be an amazing night of rock and roll. Don’t wait because god only knows.”
