Two Possible DEF LEPPARD Brazilian Shows Confirmed By Aerosmith

Def Leppard will be playing at least four South American shows with Aerosmith later this year and two more dates have been confirmed by the Boston band.

Aerosmith have now listed two more shows in Brazil on their official website tour section.

They take place in Belo Horizonte, Brazil on 18th September at the 64,000 Esplanada Mineirao football stadium.

The other is listed for 27th September in Curitiba, Brazil at the 30,000 Pedreira Paulo Leminski outdoor concert venue.

Both dates had been recently added to the list of rumoured shows by local fans and discussed by journalists without being confirmed. This makes four rumoured dates that have come to be true.

Joe of course announced on his 8th April radio show that Def Leppard would be playing at least four shows with Aerosmith and one with The Who.

Ticket sites and the Belo Horizonte venue have not yet listed the shows but Aerosmith list them and have pre-sale info.

As with their listing of the Sao Paulo show, they do not mention anything about Def Leppard playing.

Local press have mentioned the proposed festival shows in Santiago, Chile again in recent days saying the 30th September show by Aerosmith/Def Leppard and 29th September by Guns N' Roses/The Who are confirmed and waiting an announcement.

To add to the rumour list - a show in Mexico City for a classic rock band is being teased by a Mexican ticket site/promoter for 7th October. One of the rumoured dates for Aerosmith mentioned by local fans.

Other rumours of shows in Rosario and Buenos Aires, Argentina still persist for early October without confirmation or announcements.

These two new shows would make four confirmed dates for Def Leppard "IF" they do confirm their own involvement.

Had been listed earlier today but later removed. The local press picked up on the listing and its removal (see below). This date for Curitiba has been rumoured for many weeks.
