That Radio Show - Vivian Campbell Interview Quotes

Three Continents In One Day/A day from hell?

"It was a long day. I wouldn't say it was a day from hell but I mean it was a young man's pursuit. Fortunately it was 20 something years ago that we did that. It was to basically draw a little attention to Vault. The greatest hits record that we out out. This was 1995 and you know it was our record companies idea of course to do three concerts in a day."

"So we did acoustic shows. We did one in a cave actually. A most bizarre kind of venue. It was a cave in Morocco in Northern Africa and then we flew that night on a charter flight to London. And then about lunchtime the following day we played an acoustic show at a venue in London and then we went straight to Heathrow airport and jumped on a British Airways flight to Vancouver, Canada and played a show there that night."

"In Canada and then the next morning we woke up and got on a flight to Singapore. To begin a month long promotional tour going around the world. I mean it was really a lot of work but I mean it was good fun like I said but you've gotta be young to do that you know."

I can't see you guys doing that today.

"Probably not, No."
