  • Location / St. Louis, MO, USA
  • Venue / Checkerdome / The Checkerdome

The first show by the band in this city since October 1981 on the High 'n' Dry tour.

The second time at this venue.

The venue was located to the West of the city centre close to Forest Park.

It was opened in September 1929. One of the oldest arenas the band had played in the USA.

Between 1977 and 1983 it was known as the Checkerdome and was also listed as The Checkerdome.

It was closed in May 1994 and then demolished in February 1999.

In 1983 the name was changed to St. Louis Arena which the band would play twice on the 'Hysteria' tour in 1988 with the In The Round stage moved to one end of the venue due to weight restrictions.

Uriah Heep's last show on the tour in August before they would return in September for the final 17 days of the USA tour.
