Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen will appear as a guest on The Rock Show on BBC Radio 2 on 28th May to promote the new Diamond Star Halos album.

'Diamond Star Halos' is the band's 12th studio album.

As announced on 17th March it will be released on Friday 27th May 2022.

Phil is scheduled to appear as a guest on the BBC Radio 2 Rock Show on Saturday 28th May.

The show is hosted by veteran BBC DJ Johnnie Walker whose BBC Radio show in January 1993 featured one of the band's first ever live acoustic sessions.

Phil will be picking his "Rock God" during the regular feature where guests talk about one of their musical heroes.

The show is broadcast from 8pm to 9pm.

Joe appeared on this show in December 2018 and chose Ian Hunter as his Rock God and was interviewed for about 6 minutes.

He was also interviewed by Johnnie Walker October 2019 during his Sounds Of The 70s show.
