The co-headline tour with Journey began on this day and lasted until November with many extra shows added to the initial schedule.

Also on this day in 2009 the 'Adrenalize' and 'Pyromania' deluxe edition albums were released in North America.

The Summer Tour 2014 also started on this day in 2014 in Salt Lake City. The start of 42 dates co-headlining with KISS in the USA/Canada.

On this day in 2015 the debut album by Phil Collen's side band Delta Deep was released worldwide on CD and digitally.
