Evening all, and welcome once again to the Joe Elliott Show, right here on the wonderful Planet Rock.
How are you doing? Great to be with you once again.
We have 60 minutes, one little hour, to play some, in my humble opinion, wonderful music. Let's get started.
Let's go and visit Cosmo in his factory. This is Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Once covered by Hanoi Rocks, but that is the original version, all the way back to 1970. Creedence Clearwater Revival, the album is
Aerosmith/Yungblud
Right, one more time. Let's go visit Aerosmith and Yungblud.
And before that, we heard Aerosmith, featuring Young Blood. The EP is called One More Time. The song we heard, "My Only Angel."
The Rolling Stones
I still can't stop playing that album. It is going to be my album of the year. It's September; can't see anything beating it yet.
There's one or two in the pipeline that might, but this is just something else for a band that's been around as long as they have.
It's The Rolling Stones. Of course, the album is
Ricky Warwick
Right. Well, talking of angels, it would appear that this next gentleman has plenty to share.
This is Ricky Warwick.
And I also kind of wanted to play that song because Andy Taylor has a connection with the guy that we heard before him, Ricky Warwick.
Andy Taylor produced The Almighty.
But Ricky's gone solo at the moment, and he's top ten midweek with this album.
So, let's hope that it stayed there, because if he can go solo top ten, that is an incredible achievement for a guy who's been working so, so hard to get this far.
Ricky Warwick. The new album is called Fire & Vengeance. The song that we just heard, "The Angels Share."
Andy Taylor
Not many people would have thought, when Andy Taylor — for it is him that we just heard — left Duran Duran, that he would make a covers album that featured the likes of The Faces, AC/DC and Montrose, but he did, and the album is called Dangerous.
The song we heard is the Montrose classic, "Space Station No. 5."

Cheap Trick
This next band are no fools.
From their latest album, All Washed Up, that was the first track released from said album.
That is Cheap Trick with a song called "12 Gates."
The Stranglers
So, from what some folk like to call progressive rock, to what some folk like to call new wave, this is The Stranglers.
And before that, we heard The Stranglers from their debut album back in 1977. That album is Rattus Norvegicus. The song we heard: "Go Buddy Go."
T. Rex
Once covered by Guns N' Roses on The Spaghetti Incident? album.
That is T. Rex from their 1972 monster album, The Slider, with "Buick Mackane."
