DEF LEPPARD's VISUALIZE Compilation Video Certified GOLD In The USA
Def Leppard's Visualize compilation video was certified Gold in the USA on this day in 1994.
The band's second video compilation had been released on 5th October in the USA.
A day after its release in the UK and on the same day as the 'Retro-Active' album.
The video was certified Gold on 15th February 1994.
'Visualize' included the 'Rocket' video from the 'Hysteria' album which had been filmed in November 1988 after the 'Historia' VHS had been released.
Interviews were included between the seven promo videos from the 'Adrenalize' album.
'Switch 625' was included as a tribute to Steve Clark who had died in 1991. The clip featured many shots of him playing live, from promo videos and also rare TV appearances.
At the end were three live songs from the Don Valley Stadium show in Sheffield on 6th June 1993. Including the first ever concert performance of 'Two Steps Behind'.
