DEF LEPPARD To Release PHOTOGRAPH ROUGH MIX/Digital Deluxe Versions Unveiled

Def Leppard are set to release the Photograph Rough Mix Version as the lead preview track from the upcoming Pyromania 40th anniversary box set.

The 40th anniversary 'Pyromania 40 Super Deluxe Edition' will be released on Friday 26th April 2024 via Universal Music Recordings.

The release follows a year of band celebrations on social media using the #pyromania40 hashtag and recent video teasers.

Photograph Rough Mix Version

The first preview/single to be released from the new box set is the 'Photograph (Rough Mix Version) / Unfinished Vocal'.

The song is now available on iTunes/Apple Music in both New Zealand, Australia and Japan and was added over the last couple of hours.

This version does not contain the full lead vocal during the chorus, just the main backing vocals.

Joe's lead vocal can be heard on the verse but is not yet complete on this mix hence why it was listed as 'Unfinished Vocal' on the CD tracklist.

Digital Super Deluxe Version

The box set will be made available as a digital release and is already up in Australia/New Zealand.

The full 'Super Deluxe' version contains 53 audio tracks from the 4CD's.

This includes the 22 tracks from the Rarities disc and all live songs from Dortmund and Los Angeles.

Only the songs from the CDs are included and not the new mixes or the instrumentals from the Blu-ray.

Digital Deluxe Version

The other is called simply 'Pyromania Deluxe' and has the 25 songs from the 2CD version.

There are now four Pyromania versions available on iTunes/Apple Music.

The original album is still available as well as the 2009 version which is still titled as 'Pyromania Deluxe Edition'.

All four versions still use the original 1983 album cover artwork.

No Amazon

It seems the pre-orders for the physical release are in the band's official store for 24 hours before other stores have it.

This explains the lack of Amazon listings which should change at 12am UK time tonight and YouTube audio and Visualizer videos should also be made public.
