Def Leppard played a Live 2026 tour show in Buenos Aires, Argentina last night with 20 songs performed.

The show took place at the 15,000 capacity Movistar Arena.

The band's first time at this venue.

The first visit to this city since March 2023.

Arena Rock In Argentina

From Bogota in Colombia the band travelled around 2,900 miles south east down to Buenos Aires in Argentina.

And, after almost playing one at the last show, they finally arrived at a "Movistar Arena",

The only one they'll play in 2026 and still named as such before and during the show.

The last one still had the name on the outside but had changed to a new name just a couple of days before the show.

As it turns out Def Leppard were not the only artist to schedule three Movistar Arena shows in South America.

Spanish singer Enrique Bunbury also did and has been playing many of the recent venues just ahead of the band, including this one the night before,

He also plays the other Movistar Arena in Madrid, Spain in December. now one of only two instead of four, and will soon follow the band the night after they play in Santiago.

After two days off the band were back in another country last played on The World Tour.

And their first time indoors here for quite a while.

Extreme

Extreme started the show at 8pm with another hour long song set.

Buenos Aires Rejoices

9:30pm came and Def Leppard started their second to last show of 2026 in another sold out arena.

The crowd size increasing from 14,000 in Bogota up to 15,000 here in Buenos Aires.

Time for the Movistar Arena to get rocked and Rejoice as the band started the show with the now familiar opening song.

The band's first ever proper arena show in this city.

The sponsor Movistar being a telecommunications company may have something to do with the much improved phone connection at the arena.

Many more fan posts showed up during the show than for any of the other recent ones.

Giving lots of glimpses of most of the songs and enough footage to show that this concert was just as good as the last one in Colombia.

More debuts of songs never played before in Argentina for fans to enjoy and 'Two Steps Behind' and WLAHC keeping their places once again.

Joe ended the night with:

"Muchas gracias Buenos Aires, Argentina!."

And suggested another return in the future with:

"And there will be a next time!."

Another loud crowd and another great show on the Live 2026 tour.

Which now is almost at an end.

Next up the final show of the year in another rarely played city/country.

20 Song Setlist

'Rejoice', 'Personal Jesus', 'Just Like '73' and 'White Lightning' were all played here for the first time.

Buenos Aires History

The first visit to Buenos Aires took place in April 1997 on the Slang tour.

Two shows were played at Cine Teatro Gran Rex (filmed and broadcast on local TV).

And a smaller club show at Dr. Jekyll Club which included some rarely played songs,

They would not return until September 2017 to play the Estadio Luna Park during the Summer Tour 2017.

The last show took place in March 2023, an outdoor show at Parque Sarmiento, with Motley Crue on The World Tour.

Last night's show was the fifth performance in Buenos Aires.

The next Def Leppard show takes place on 8th November in Santiago, Chile.
