Def Leppard played an Adrenalize tour show in Binghamton, NY on 22nd October 1992 and video footage is available.

The show took place at the almost 7,000 capacity Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

It was significantly delayed as the band and crew were delayed over night by U.S. customs after driving back from playing in Toronto, ON in Canada the night before.

The band played on their new Adrenalize album design In The Round stage.

The spectacular show featured lasers, a movable lighting rig and Rick's rotating and moving drum kit.

The kit also rose into the air during the mid section of 'Rocket' with Sav joining him as Phil and Vivian traded guitar solos.

This was the band's second time in Binghamton after an August 1981 show here with Ozzy Osbourne.

The show lasted for two hours and 14 minutes with no opening act.

The setlist featured five songs from the 'Adrenalize' album including 'Let's Get Rocked' which had been used as the show opener since mid-September.

Both Phil and Vivian played lengthy guitar solos prior to the epic tracks 'White Lightning' and 'Gods Of War'.

Joe Elliott - Pre-Women Speech

"Good evening Binghamton. How you guys doing out there?. Now that we're all finally inside the building I just gotta explain a couple of things to you. The reason that the show started so late is because on our journey from Toronto in Canada last night, we obviously had to come through U.S. customs and they stopped us and they sort of f**ked everybody around for about six hours. And we couldn't get the trucks out. They impounded the trucks and the guys got here as quick as they could. They got the gear up in record time and I think that the road crew deserve a big round of applause."

"Hey but we're here and we're here to rock and roll!. So are you ready?. I said are you ready? Welcome to the Seven Day Weekend tour!."

Joe Elliott - Pre-MLLAM Speech

"Thank you. Thank you very much. So Def Leppard in Binghamton, New York. You guys still doing alright out there?. I'll tell you what it's f**king hot up here. Tell me what do you think of this In The Round thing we've got going here?. Like it?. This is something we did back on the Hysteria tour in 1987, 1988 and it seemed to go down well with the crowd and went down well with us. So we thought why not. We'll do it again. So here we are with a brand new In The Round stage. This one is to tie in with our new albums and we have new album called Adrenalize!. And we're gonna be playing you some songs from the new album as well as some of our more familiar material alright. You get my drift, good. OK shall we get on with it?. OK here's a song from the Adrenalize album. This one's called Make Love Like A Man."

Joe Elliott - Phil Collen Introduction

"Thank you. Thank you very much. OK how about you guys make one hell of a lot of noise for Mr. Phil Collen on the electric geetar!."

Joe Elliott - Vivian Campbell Introduction

"Thank you. Thank you very much. Boy it's hot up here. You guys still alright out there?. Well, well it's been a long time. We...Sav, Sav was telling me, I don't even remember because I've got a bad memory. But we played here before a long, long time ago. Too long. Because if we'd have known it was gonna be like this, we would've been back here much earlier than tonight. That was our plan all along you see. We wanted to be everywhere much earlier than we eventually got there. We, back in '84/'85, '86, spent a long time making an album. Which eventually came out in 1987. And it was not a very nice period. It was a good record but it was horrible to make it. It was no fun. And we promised ourselves. And we promised you guys that we wouldn't spend four years making an album again. Oops!."

"Of course what do we go and do. We spent four years making another record. Which wasn't the plan. I used to do this little walk around thing on the 87/88 Hysteria tour but I'd talk and get to know some of my closest friends in places like Binghamton for example. And we'd just have a chat and go over a few things and one of the things that was a big deal to us back then was this guy here. The Thundergod - the return of!. Mr. Ricky Allen and his drums because as has been well documented he had what turned out to be a minor setback. But he recovered, he got over it and he came back and regained his throne as far as we're concerned he's the best drummer there is."

"So that was us, five guys back together again on tour having a good time. And playing in front of people which is what it's all about. And we enjoyed it so much we made the stupid promise that we'd make a quick album and be back out on tour soon. But it didn't happen that way because as with Rick back in '84. Put a bit of a spanner in the works for us. It happened again because as we were writing the material for the new album. Unfortunately, we lost a friend who was very near and dear to us. God bless him."

"But you've gotta get on with it. You know you've gotta get on with your life. You've gotta get on with your career. And I think one of the things we've mastered over the years we've been together - time is catching up with us now. One thing we have mastered is the art of getting on with it. And I think we're very good at getting on with it. 18 months ago or so we sat down around a coffee table, drinking coffee like you do. And we made a few what turned out to be very important decisions. First off we were not gonna split up. We were gonna carry on. Secondly we were gonna finish the album and we were gonna finish it as a four piece as a mark of respect. And thirdly we were gonna get together, pack our bags and we caught a plane. And we caught a plane to Los Angeles in California and we rented this dusty little rehearsal room and we jammed with a few people. And I'm very pleased to announce that we made ourselves a brand new friend."

"Well I ain't wearing a watch but as I said earlier on time flies quickly and he's been in the band now over 9 months which makes him one of the family more than a friend. He's definitely one of the boys. And I'd like to introduce you to him. Ladies and gentleman all the way from Belfast in Northern Ireland Mr. Vivian Campbell!."

Joe Elliott - Pre-BOTH Speech

"Thank you. Thank you very much and welcome to Def Leppard Unplugged. So what shall we play for them this evening? (acoustic snippets played). You got one Phil?. Nah, no, no, no. They're good songs but we don't know the end of them. OK seriously, if that's at all possible this evening, we're gonna play you something which goes back quite a way. And we're gonna do it slightly different to maybe the way you've heard it before because we do tend to change this song around a lot when we're on tour. So this ain't like the album version. And it's also not like the way we did it on the last tour either. So if you recognise it, do join in. And it goes something like this."

Joe Elliott - End Of Show Speech

"Binghamton thanks for having us. Goodnight."

"Once again thanks for having us."
