Def Leppard's Diamond Star Halos album entered the UK chart at Number Five on this day in 2022.
'Diamond Star Halos' is the band's 12th studio album.
The album was announced on 17th March and then released on Friday 27th May 2022.
The album entered the Official UK Top 100 chart at Number Five.
The highest new entry on the main Top 100 chart since 'Slang' which also peaked at Number 5 in May 1996.
On the same day it also entered the Official UK Rock & Metal albums chart Top 40 at Number One.
The first UK Rock Album Number One since 'Def Leppard' also entered at #1 in November 2015.
