DEF LEPPARD 2018 HYSTERIA Tour In HONOLULU (#2) (Show Report)

Def Leppard played another show on the 2018 Hysteria tour last night in Honolulu, HI with 16 songs performed.

The show took place at the 8,800 capacity Blaisdell Center Arena.

The second of two nights here at the start of the 'Hysteria & More' section of the 2018 world tour.

The fourth show the band have played in Honolulu and the fourth time at this venue.

It was first opened in September 1964.

The first visit here took place at the Blaisdell Center Arena just a few days after the legendary Jack Murphy Stadium show in San Diego at the end of the North American Pyromania tour leg.

A second night was played at the same venue. It was to be the last American show played by Rick Allen before his car accident.

These two shows are a return to the Hawaiian Islands for the first time in just over 35 years.

Setlist

The 'Hysteria' album would have been played in full and in sequence for the 16th time but only the Single Version of 'Rocket' was performed. It's possible Joe was having issues with his voice which might account for the shorter show although there were no reports of this.

The pre-Hysteria setlist featured - not much as it wasn't played.

The album portion of the show was not quite 'Performed Its Entirety' before the four other songs.

Unlike night 1 the show did not start until 9pm with the band only having 90 minutes to play. The DJ who was also there on night #1 was called DJ Delve and was given 45 minutes on stage to play music as the opening act.
