12 Years Ago DEF LEPPARD At Spike Video Game Awards (Video/Photos)

Def Leppard performed at the Spike Video Game Awards show on this day in 2005 and video footage/photos are available.

The show took place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, CA.

The first time the band had played the venue since a show here on the X/Ten tour in December 2002.

The event was hosted by actor Samuel Jackson and was later shown on the Spike TV channel in the USA on 10th December.

The band performed a live version of 'Rock Of Ages' which can be seen via the YouTube link. Media photos are also available via Gettyimages.

Other performers included 50 Cent and Missy Elliott.

The band had previously played the venue in September 1989 for the MTV Video Music Awards.

An appearance which turned out to be the last ever with original guitarist Steve Clark.
