Joe talked about the current tour, his love of being in the band, the Sturgis festival/voice issues, Vivian's health, the new album and playing new material on the UK tour.

He says the band intend to play new material on the UK tour. 'Dangerous' has at least been soundchecked in Japan and may debut tomorrow in Nagoya.

This interview took place on 13th October before the band went to see Paul McCartney play the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.

Belfast Telegraph - Joe Elliott Interview Quotes

UK Tour/New Songs Live

"While our early days were exciting, I don’t think they were as exciting as what we’ve just done because nobody knew we were making this album. It was beyond liberating. If we were ever to make another record again we want to go down the same route."

The New Album

"We’re going to play some songs from the new album because we don’t want to be labelled as a ‘nostalgia band’, but we’ll also be playing plenty of the old hits for those who have supported us for decades. It’ll be a celebration!"
