Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has been interviewed by Playbackstl to promote the new Down 'n' Outz album and the Summer Tour 2014.
Joe talked about the Down 'n' Outz The Further Adventures Of... album, the Summer Tour 2014, being in a band and a "story" about St. Louis.
Joe said that both KISS and Def Leppard will play for around 90 minutes on the Summer Tour 2014. Slightly longer than the 75/85mins mentioned by Vivian a few weeks ago.
As mentioned on Friday a band from Calgary, AB called Kobra And The Lotus will open 23 of the 42 shows.
Phil talked to the same site in August 2012 during the Rock Of Ages tour.
Playbackstl - Joe Elliott Interview Quote
Summer Tour 2014
"I always hate when bands don't want to play their popular tunes" he says. "Why not give people value for their money? Give me the hits. It's like asking the Rolling Stones to play songs off of A Bigger Bang. It ain't gonna happen. If I see them, I want to hear "Jumpin' Jack Flash," "Satisfaction," and "Sympathy for the Devil." Hits are a responsibility, and it's a wonderful responsibly to have, really. On the KISS tour, both bands are playing about an hour and a half, so you really have to cherrypick the music."
