Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen has once more told fans new Manraze songs will be released in 2013.

Phil responded to a question on Twitter about the possibility of any new Manraze music.

Phil mentioned an old song being reworked back in February. A song called 'Original Sin' (from the early tracklisting of the 'Surreal' album) was listed among the Manraze songs on the ASCAP website. The very 'biblical' lyrics for this song are shown below (courtesy of the old Man-Raze website, circa 2005).

Other unreleased Manraze songs include 'I Can't Live Without You' and 'Surrender' which also date from 2004-2005.

If you want to follow Phil on twitter you now can as he opened it up again to fans a few days ago.

Phil Collen - 4th May Twitter Quote

Any new (Manraze) material on the horizon?

"A few new songs later this year."

Manraze 'Original Sin' - Song Lyrics

leading daniel to the lions is where it begins
cosmic mark of cain and abel - the shame that i'm in
jumping jonah hides alone and in tears
captain noah comes to float us out of here

i'm trying to find a brighter way
i'll leave behind misguided days
here's where the fun begins
it's my original sin

across the desert of all reason to sanity's shores
forty days of pure temptation to make a new cure
the coat of joseph turns a white room to red
and plastic lazarus will rise up from the dead

i'm trying to find a brighter way
i'll leave behind misguided days
here's where the fun begins
it's my original sin

even gabriel would have to say the path is black
only moses knows there's one way out and that is back
when the terminology will only lead you way off track
if patience is a virtue goodness is the first to crack

i'm trying to find a brighter way
i'll leave behind misguided days
here's where the fun begins
here's where the fun begins
it's my original sin
