On This Day in Def Leppard History - 12th July, the following concerts and events took place. Including the UK release of the 'Promises/Back In Your Face' double A-Side single in 1999. The first single taken from the 'Euphoria' album which reached number 41 on the UK singles chart.

Also on this day in 1982 Phil Collen joined the band following the sacking of original guitarist Pete Willis during the making of the 'Pyromania' album.
