The Pittsburgh show to me will always be remembered as really wet!! (to say the least). The rain fell in sheets, but did not stop either band from performing at their best. My friends and I had front row. In fact, we didn't notice the rain all that much in the beginning, til Neal Schon's fans on the stage started to blow mist on him from the rain. He just smiled and blew it off. Joe mentioned the weather during DL's performance, and thanked everyone in the lawn area, especially for sticking it out to hear them play. The outside arena was packed to say the least! Luckily the majority of the ampitheatre was covered!

I was pleased with all the performances that night. I was lucky enough to meet some members of Journey and Def Leppard that day. I could not believe they would actually come out during the horrible weather for a meet and greet outside prior to show time. It just goes to show how fan friendly they really are.

Being from New Orleans, I was touched by the many kind fans I met that day/night. Pittsburgh to me was not just an awesome show by the bands themselves, but because of fantastic ppl I met there. I will never forget changing our drenched clothes in the car, prior to following the buses to the next show! lol Yes...we did that! So, it was one of the most memorable shows to me personally.
