Indianapolis, IN - Media Reviews
Def Leppard @ Market Square Arena By Indianapolis Star
Alln was situated in the center of Def Leppard's handsome in-the-round stage.
While his drum stand revolved on a platform, the rest of the band, notably Joe Elliott, took full advantage of the multi-level stage to play directly to he fans.
After the guys were sneaked behind the curtained stage inside large crates, the curtain fell to reveal the group bathed in lush color from a fantastic array of laser-enhanced lights.
The group's high-octane performance of songs like 'Women', 'Another Hit And Run' and 'Too Late For Love' sent the audience into waves of deafening applause and cheers.
Elliott, one of rock's best screamers, was clearly glad to be back on stage.
Looking sharp in artfully tattered jeans, he sounded especially strong on 'Hysteria' and the reworked 'Bringin' On The Heartbreak' which started off with an attractively simple two-guitar introduction.
