Show Intro

"Even in all and welcome once again to the Joe Elliott show right here on the wonderful Planet Rock. How you doing great to be with you once again always a pleasure. You know that already 60 minutes one hour we have to play what is in my humble opinion some fantastic music starting off with these guys these guys are pretty vicious, these guys are The Struts."

The Struts

"Sex so good the neighbors smoked a cigarette, It's got to be one of the greatest lines ever written in a rock song wonderful stuff from their latest album Pretty Vicious. That was The Struts with Rockstar."

The Rolling Stones

"So let's keep that breakneck pace going for the next few minutes at least from their latest album. This is The Rolling Stones."

"And before that we heard The Rolling Stones from their latest album Hackney Diamonds featuring a Beatle on base guitar. Yes, Paul McCartney guested on that particular song. The song is Bite My Head Off. Please don't."

Be Bop Deluxe

"I just watched a documentary on YouTube that was presented by Cherry Red Records. It was actually just an interview with Bill Nelson talking about the album Futurama and I thought you know what even though I did play a song last week or the week before I'm gonna play another one because it is such a fantastic album originally released in 1975 it was re-released just a few years ago with brand new mixes and he version that we just heard is indeed the brand new mix of the song Music In Dreamland. Be Bop Deluxe wonderful band."

ELO

"And talking of The Beatles. Here's a band that were massively influenced by said fab for this is ELO."

"And before that we heard ELO the album Electric Light Orchestra. Their very first when the band still included Roy Wood in their ranks. The song what we heard Look At Me Now."

Montrose

"Absolutely massive guitars there by Ronnie Montrose. It is the band Montrose from their second album Paper Money from back in 1974 the song we heard The Dreamer."

"You are listening to the Joe Elliott show on the wonderful Planet Rock. Coming up we're gonna keep the faith with Bon Jovi."

Bon Jovi

"And before that it goes down as my favourite ever song by my mate Jon. The band is Bon Jovi the album Keep The Faith. The song we heard all nine minutes and 52 seconds of it Dry County."

Buffalo Springfield

"Oh often often sampled in rap music specifically the harmonic intro. That is Buffalo Springfield from 1967 I think. It is the song is called For What It's Worth."

Sniff 'N' The Tears

"A very common phrase in the music industry is the one-hit wonder and it does make you contemplate why why only the one but sometimes one of those songs just gets under your skin and it stays there forever. For me, this is one of them. This is Sniff 'n' The Tears."

"And before that indeed a one-hit wonder but what a song it Sniff 'n' The Tears the song is Driver's Seat."

Lone Star

"There's no getting away from the fact that that young man who was 21 at the time when he sang that song wWas heavily influenced by the likes of Robert Plant and specifically Glenn Hughes. But what a singer John Sloman it still is actually but at 21 he was incredible. That is Lone Star which featured Paul Tonka Chapman on guitar at the time before he joined UFO. The album is Firing On All Six. The song that we heard Time Lays Down."

Show Outro

"And that's my dear friends and you will hear in just a few moments pun intended is about it for this week. It's been a real pleasure as always. I should be back with you next week at exactly the same time."

"So until then let's go out on this one. It is what's called the long-lost rerecord. Originally buried for years now available as a bonus track on the re-release of Night At The Opera. This is Queen with the alternative version of Keep Yourself Alive. Until next week. See ya!."
