DEF LEPPARD's VIVIAN CAMPBELL Nominated For 2024 Audio And Radio Industry Award

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell has been nominated for a 2024 Radio And Audio Industry award as part of a 2023 Planet Rock show.

A Vivian presented Planet Rock special from 2023 has been nominated in the awards.

The 2024 ARIAS nominations were recently announced on 26th March.

ARIAS 2024/20 Years Of Download

In mid 2023 Vivian was the host of a show on Planet Rock called '20 Years Of Download'.

The show celebrated 20 years of the Download Festival which is held each June at Donington Park in Derby, England.

The show has now been nominated in the Best Music Special category for the 2024 Radio Academy 'Audio & Radio Industry Awards' (ARIAS).

The awards show itself takes place at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, England on 7th May and hosted by Alice Levine & Romesh Ranganathan.

Ricky Warwick hosted a similar show in November 2023 to celebrate 10 tears of Planet Rockstock which featured a short interview with Joe Elliott.

2024 Re-Broadcast

To celebrate this news Planet Rock are broadcasting the show again on Friday at 9pm.

For those of us who missed the original one hour show in 2023 we'll be able to hear it in full.

And it seems likely someone will record it and transcribe it and perhaps post it on this site...
