Def Leppard's CD/Vinyl Volume Three box set and Rarities From The Vault were released on this day in 2021

The third box set in the band's ongoing reissue series was released on 11th June 2021.

Volume One was released in June 2018 and covered the first four studio albums with Volume 2 following in June 2019 and covering the four 1990s releases.

The third of the four volume series covers the albums 'X', 'YEAH!' and 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge'.

It also includes three discs of B Sides and rarities on two further discs titled 'YEAH! 2' and YEAH! Live.

These discs include a few previously unreleased tracks from the unofficial X demos CD (including 'Perfect Girl' and demo versions). 'Perfect Girl' was previously issued as a free download.

Also included for the first time since its release on iTunes (in the USA) in 2006 is the Slade cover 'How Does It Feel'.

The live disc includes three songs performed with Brian May which also with a vinyl release of YEAH! were mentioned in various interviews by Joe since 2016.

Phil's cover of The Police song 'Roxanne' is included leaving just one unreleased track left from the YEAH! sessions (MC5 - 'Kick Out The Jams').

This cover was previously posted on YouTube only.

The 'YEAH! Live' also includes the Slang tour live track recorded with Ian Hunter on lead vocals which was included on his 2000 hits release 'Once Bitten Twice Shy'.

In a change from the Volume's One and Two box sets this one will have the three bonus discs released in digital form as 'X, YEAH! & Songs From The Sparkle Lounge: Rarities From The Vault'.
