Classic Def Leppard Concert Review Dundee, Scotland 1980

Def Leppard 1980.

Def Leppard played a show on the OTTN club tour in Dundee, Scotland 1980 on 19th January 1980 and an archive concert review is available to read.

Record Mirror reviewed the show which took place at the Students' Union @ Dundee University.

A somewhat amusing review and perhaps Joe's influence to write Don't Shoot Shotgun?...(see end of review for details),

The band were supported by Witchfynde.

Another show on the UK club and University tour of January/February 1980.

Record Mirror - Concert Review Quotes

"The first two numbers proved that Joe Elliott, the vocalist, has powerful lungs."

"Pete Williams, the rhythm guitarist can control a distorted riff, and the rest can hammer along like there's no tomorrow."

"What they offer is drive, power, tight playing and every other rock cliche known to man."

This and other archive concert reviews can be found on the show pages in the Tour History.
