Def Leppard won the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Fan Vote on this day in 2018 on their way to being inducted.

Fan voting ended on 9th December 2019 with Def Leppard winning by 119,803 votes.

The official final total was 547,647 votes. Just short of 550,000 with around 3,000 votes cast in the last three or four hours.

This set the band on the path to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame at the 2019 Induction ceremony on 29th March 2019 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

All previous Fan Vote winners had gone on to be inducted including Bon Jovi the year before in 2018.

All other voting ended on 10th December and the five inductees went on to be announced a few days later.

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame was founded in April 1983 and the building is located in Cleveland, OH.

The Fan Vote officially ended at 11:59 EST.
