DEF LEPPARD Confirm 11 Canadian Tour Dates For 2019

Def Leppard have just announced their Canadian tour dates for 2019 as part of the ongoing world tour.

The tour will start on 12th July in Halifax, NS and finish in Calgary, AB on 31st July according to their official website which has also posted a promo video for the tour.

The band last played a full Canadian tour in April/May 2015 to start the world tour that supported the self-titled studio album released in the same year. 13 shows were played with One Bad Son and Trapper.

Since then they have played shows in Quebec City and Toronto (2016), Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver (2017) and two shows in 2018 (Toronto and Vancouver).

Tesla will join the band again as support.

These tour dates follow on from the UK/European tour which so far consists of 15 shows in 12 countries in June/July 2019.

The new Canadian dates include cities not played for many years such as Moncton, New Brunswick which was last played in August 2003 on the X/Ten tour.

Halifax, NS will also be played for the first time since August 2003 on the same tour.

Tickets go on sale from Friday 18th January.

The band will be inducted into the 2019 Performer Category alongside The Cure, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music and The Zombies. Presented by Klipsch Audio, the 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame® Induction Ceremony will take place on March 29, 2019 in Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center.
