On This Day in Def Leppard History - 11th July, the following concerts and events took place. Including the Golden Jubilee Concert in Leeds, England on this day in 2002.

The band played as part of the celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee at Temple Newsam House. After their set ended the band met the Queen backstage. The diverse line up also included Charlotte Church and Lesley Garret.

Also on this day in 1982 original guitarist Pete Willis was fired from the band in London due to his excessive drinking.
