Phil Collen Auburn 2014
Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen was recently interviewed by Corpus Christi radio and mentioned a new single release.
Phil talked about Joe Elliott's vocal issues/recovery, the 2016 U.S. summer tour, producing Tesla, playing new songs on the 2016 tour, another single from the new album, his Adrenalized book, Delta Deep, advice for young musicians and his favourite new music.
Phil says a new single from the album will be released this summer. Man Enough is the likely candidate after Vivian suggested it would be played live on the summer tour.
The interview was done to promote the 5th May show in Corpus Christi, TX.

Joe Elliott's Recovery
"He's great. We was touring nine months last year and Joe was actually touring with walking pneumonia for most of the time. When he got better. He actually got nasty cough just after Christmas, after the kind of pneumonia had gone, this awful hacking cough. So that's really what kind of messed him up. You know when we done these dates in Florida. We done like one show and all of a sudden his voice just kind of went out. The doctor said look you've gotta stop singing for a month. So he's doing great now. He's actually all back to normal."
Cinco de Mayo/2016 Summer Tour
"Very cool. There you go. I didn't know that. But there you go that's great. It just keeps updating, upgrading. More muscular, the whole thing every time we go out. We're obviously gonna be promoting the new album, Def Leppard. So we're gonna try and put newer songs in as well. I mean that's always a tough one. You know when you put a new album out. You know you can't play - you'd love to play everything. But you know the fans obviously want to hear classics as well. So we're kind of (trying to) - dance across that line where you play new stuff but not too many."

"Absolutely, yeah. You know we'll have a new single off it I'm sure. We're actually working on that now. So yeah that'll all be good."
