Rick Allen Says Band Is Really Proud Of New Album

Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen was interviewed yesterday by Sunny 107.9 radio in West Palm Beach and audio is available.

Rick talked about his artwork, drumming, recovering from his accident, jewellery, working with horses in California, the Hysteria On The High Seas cruise, 2016 US tour, the new Def Leppard album, rapid fire questions and his Angels And Icons exhibit.

The rapid fire questions included Rick revealing his Rap name and a story about him being locked out of his hotel room whilst naked.

Def Leppard return to Florida on 29th January in Sunrise, FL on the 2016 tour.

Proud Of New Def Leppard Album?

"Ah really proud of it. And we weren't afraid to delve back into our past. You know borrow things from Def Leppard. But also show people where we came from and the influences. You know we were just talking about David Bowie. He was you know an incredible influence on this band. Queen, Slade all the classics. So you know Zeppelin. All that stuff comes up in this record. And we're just really proud of it."

"It has to be Hysteria. But I really love the new songs but from, yeah, from the standpoint of just an all time. AN all time favourite I love the song Hysteria."
