Def Leppard guitarists Phil Collen and Steve Clark were presented with awards for Hysteria in Sydney, Australia and photos are available.

Some rare photos have been posted online by an employee of Polygram Australia.

The first nine photos date from either December 1988 or 1990 and were taken at Polygram's offices in Sydney.

Phil and Steve are shown being presented with record award discs for the Hysteria album.

The awards were presented to them by well known Australian music journalist/TV presenter Molly Meldrum.

Phil and Steve went on a promo trip to the country in December 1988 after the Hysteria tour had ended.

These photos date from either then or 1990 as indicated. Phil did spend up to three months is Sydney during summer/autumn 1990 when he co-produced the BB Steal album 'On the Edge' with Pete Woodroffe.

Other photos included in the Flickr gallery include five backstage shots of Joe, Sav, Rick and Vivian from the 22nd/23rd July shows in Sydney during the Adrenalize In The Round tour.

Three more are included of Joe playing football. A charity football match took place on 21st July 1992 at St George Stadium next to the Sydney International Airport.
